Located in the heart of Vancouver's Mount Pleasant neighbourhood since the early 1940's, Tenth Avenue Alliance Church is a faith-based community with 4 locations spanning the city from east to west. In 2012, a group of people from the community with a passion for the beautiful game of football decided to band together to form a team and participate in a locally-organized church league.
With a focus on building relationships, encouraging one another and having fun together, the team has now competed in its sixth season and grown into a smaller community within the larger church organization. When I joined the team in 2012, I saw the opportunity to create a club crest inspired by the principles in the team motto as a foundation: unity, encouragement & support.
